PAS (Penilaian Akhir Semester) adalah penilaian yg dilakukan di akhir semester setelah kegiatan pembelajaran selama 1 semster atau 6 bulan. yang dulunya PAS dikenal dengan istilah Ulangan Akhir Semester (UAS). Namun PAS adalah istilah baru yang dipakai sebagai pengganti isitilah Ulangan Akhir Semester (UAS) atau Ulangan Umum (Umum).


Penilaian Akhir Semester (PAS) adalah kegiatan yang dilakukan untuk meng­ukur pencapaian kompetensi peserta didik di akhir Semester Genap. Cakupan penilaian meliputi seluruh indikator yang merepresentasikan semua KD pada semester tersebut. Hasil penilaian akhir semester selanjutnya diolah dan dianalisis untuk menge­tahui ketuntasan belajar peserta didik. Hasil penilaian ini dapat dimanfaatkan untuk program remedial, pengayaan, dan pengisian rapor.
